The Arc of Bradford County opened its first home, Stella's Place, in 2001 and the second home, Butler Road Group Home, was opened in 2002.

Six ladies live at Stella's Place. The home specializes in the unique care needs of individuals who are elderly. Five men currently live at the Butler Road Group Home. The home has a ranch like setting and is located on five acres.

Each household is fully staffed 24 hours per day by trained professionals who offer assistance to each individual according to their needs.

With a person centered focus, staff teaches skills to maximize the individual's independence in areas of self help and community living. Emphasis is also placed on connecting people to community resources and social recreational events.
