The Arc's Supporting Living Program provides for a person centered approach to services which includes training and assistance in a variety of activities to support individuals who live in their own home or apartment.
These services may include assistance with locating appropriate housing; the acquisition, retention or improvement of skills related to activities of daily living such as personal hygiene and grooming, household chores, meal preparation, shopping, personal finances and the social and adaptive skills necessary to enable individuals to live independently.
The Arc's Supported Employment Program assist individuals in obtaining and retaining paid employment at or above minimum wage in the community. A job coach provides support and training throughout the individual's employment.
Other services provided by The Arc include companion, personal care assistance and non-residential support services.
